How It Works — Online Pharmacy Care
STEP 1
Start your online request. Patients fill out a secure online intake form, choose a preferred consultation time, and provide their medical and prescription history. After submission, the Virtudent team sends secure access instructions and appointment details.
STEP 2
Connect with a licensed healthcare provider and pharmacy team. At the scheduled appointment time, patients can securely join from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. A Virtudent care coordinator reviews medications, allergies, and treatment goals before connecting the patient with a licensed clinician. The clinician evaluates the patient’s condition, discusses treatment options, and answers questions about medications, dosing, and safety.
STEP 3
Receive prescription support and ongoing care. If treatment is appropriate, prescriptions are sent to a partner pharmacy for processing, delivery, or local pickup. Patients receive guidance on medications, refill support, and follow-up recommendations. If further in-person evaluation is necessary, the Virtudent care team can help with referrals and continued care coordination.
